Foreign Office, August 10, 1907. I HAVE received your despatch No. 247 of the 28th May last, inclosing copies of further correspondence with the Wai-wu Pu regarding the amended draft of the Trade-mark Regulations prepared by the Board of Commerce in November 1906.
I
approve the terms of your note to the Wai-wu Pu of the 28th May, and I request that you will adhere to the position that the Foreign Representatives' draft of 1905 must be the basis of all future negotiations.
